Why Modern Lime?

I have been doing lots of research lately on living a “greener” lifestyle. Like many women, this was motivated by the arrival of our first baby a little over a year ago. I started to think about ways I could take charge and have my family live a healthier and more sustainable life. However, I consider myself your everyday mom and as cool as some of the eco-chic and environmentally friendly items are, I knew $200 bamboo sheet sets and worm bins were never going to really mean much in my life. I don’t think that environmentally friendly should mean expensive, faddish, or hippie (not that there is anything wrong with that :) So here is my quest to find products, ideas, tips and tricks to live a green lifestyle while being real to my life in the Florida subburbs. Who knows…maybe one day I’ll work up the nerve to try out the worm bin.
